KingAcademic (“we”, “us”) operates the website kingacademic.com and an internal tool called KingAcademic YouTube Uploader. This policy explains what data we handle and how.

1. Who we are

2. KingAcademic YouTube Uploader

KingAcademic YouTube Uploader is a private, internal tool used solely by KingAcademic to publish our own video content to our own YouTube channel. It is not offered to the public and has no end users other than KingAcademic staff.

3. Google user data we access

The tool requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube scope. This is used only to upload videos to, and manage videos on, the KingAcademic YouTube channel owned by the authenticating Google account.

We do not read, collect, or store any other Google account data. We do not access Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or any other Google service.

4. Storage and retention

OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are stored locally on KingAcademic’s own computer in a credentials file that is not shared, published, or transmitted to any third party. Video files and their titles, descriptions, and tags are sent directly to the YouTube Data API and are not retained by any intermediate server.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, transfer, or otherwise share Google user data with any third party. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train any AI or machine learning model.

6. Limited Use

KingAcademic’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access immediately invalidates our stored tokens.

8. Website visitors

kingacademic.com may use cookies and standard web analytics to understand aggregate site usage. This is separate from the tool described above and involves no Google account data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
